As its mission, the Classroom of the Future Foundation (CFF) inspires, supports, and recognizes educational innovation in San Diego County schools by partnering with education, business, and community leaders. One key partnership since our inception in 1997 has been with the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE), which has been led by Dr. Paul Gothold since 2017 as the San Diego County Superintendent of Schools.

CFF and its Director of Development and Operations, Jane Turk-Schlosberg, have been influential in working with Dr. Gothold over the last seven years as a champion of students’ equitable access to career opportunities, bringing innovation into their classrooms, and closing the digital divide in underserved districts and schools.

Together, we’ve accomplished many initiatives with fundraising to help students, educators, and superintendents with opportunities to career technical education (CTE), providing new technology in local classrooms, and providing educational equity with CTE programs at the Linda Vista Innovation Center (LVIC).
