Do you or your company have old computers and technology that you’d like to donate to a worthy cause? Would you like to help place a recycled computer in the home of a low-income family and provide kids with the tools to access educational, occupational and financial resources?
It’s spring cleaning season and an excellent time to recycle your old technology such as computers . Both individuals and corporations can donate technology to Computers 2 San Diego Kids (C2SDK) to help the children of San Diego gain access to technology. There is no charge to the donor and C2SDK provides tax receipts upon request.
C2SDK accepts all working and nonworking electronics including computers and laptops (APPLE and PCs), monitors (any size), keyboards, mice, printers, copiers, fax/scanners, televisions, radios, stereo equipment, speakers, cell phones, land phones, VCRs, DVRs, recorders, projectors, miscellaneous cords, software, hardware, ink and toner cartridges (new and used), etc.
At C2SDK, they understand the importance of security to individual and corporate technology donors. All items storing personal data will be sanitized in compliance with the Department of Defense Sanitization Standards as outlines in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual DoD 5220.22-M.
