On behalf of the Classroom of the Future Foundation (CFF) Board of Directors and staff, we would like to wish you and your loved ones a very happy holiday season!
Today is Giving Tuesday, a national day to contribute to your favorite nonprofit organizations and support their work to make a difference in people’s lives.
Here at CFF, we aim to empower students and educators through innovative education that prepares students to enter a competitive, global society. During this season of giving, we at CFF would like to reflect on all that we are thankful for. First and foremost, we thank our donors and sponsors who make our mission become a reality by allowing us to develop new programs to implement in classrooms around San Diego County. Additionally, we are thankful for our volunteers and those who assist us in delivering our mission into our community. Finally, we are thankful for the administrators and teachers throughout San Diego County. These individuals are on the frontline inspiring students to be creative, innovative, and curious to solve real world problems impacting our community and the world.
This Giving Tuesday, we ask for a donation to support our programs to prepare San Diego students for the workforce. Supporting local education is important because it drives economic growth by providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary for the workforce. CFF is dedicated to uniting local businesses with our schools to accelerate programs that expose students to the jobs of the future. For example, we are providing our Career Discovery Cybersecurity Experience Program to more than 300 students this year, giving them the technical and essential skills to succeed in one of our region’s fastest growing industries. This program, with the help of the USS Midway Museum, teaches students about the history of encryption and coding, as well as modern cybersecurity practices that are used today. In addition, we have numerous career pathway programs that inspire students to pursue degrees in areas such as science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics.
While you celebrate the holidays this year, we ask you to keep CFF in mind in your charitable giving. We are extremely grateful for your generosity, and please know that every dollar will go towards educators and programs that inspire students to be innovative and achieve their goals. We ask that you learn more about the ways to donate and consider making a donation by December 31st. All monetary donations are tax-deductible.
Once again, we thank you for your support and generosity during this time.
Happy Holidays!
