Since 2004, the Classroom of the Future Foundation has been recognizing innovative programs within San Diego County schools through our Innovation in Education Awards program. The 12th annual Innovation in Education Awards Program will be held on May 20, 2015 at the Hahn Center at the University of San Diego.
The award process begins with nominations of any innovative projects in a K-12 classroom, school or district in San Diego County. We have received nominations from teachers, principals, district administrators, business partners, even volunteers. You can nominate a worthy project or even self-nominate.
Our four awards recognize innovative projects that demonstrate the power and scope of ways to improve K-12 education:
inspire – inspiring students to learn
innovate – finding new and better ways to educate
achieve – demonstrating the results of innovations
impact – doing it all, the best of the best for the year
To nominate a program, here is the process:
1. Gather details about the project for our online Nomination Form
2. Complete our Nomination Form anytime between now and the deadline of Monday, March 16, 2015 5:00 PM PDT
3. Include evidence with your Nomination Form that supports the success of the program
