The excitement of the Academy Awards and its red carpet walk is about to come to San Diego County in the form of the 17th annual Innovation in Education Awards on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at 3:30pm PT. Don’t miss the action, register for a FREE ticket to the virtual event.
Our awards ceremony will have lights, cameras, action, glitz, glamour, and masks! Prior to the presentation of over $50,000 in grants and scholarships to local K-12 educators and students, you’ll have the opportunity to see and meet our local celebrities during our Red Carpet walk and interviews.
During the ceremony, you’ll learn about four award-winning innovative programs that embody the Classroom of the Future Foundation’s (CFF) mission of “creating innovative learning environments in San Diego County public schools that prepare our students to thrive in a competitive, global society.” These annual Innovation in Education Awards include a $5,000 Inspire Award to Escondido Union School District (sponsored by Lexia Learning), a $5,000 Innovate Award to Cardiff Elementary School District (sponsored by SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union), a $5,000 Achieve Award to Health Sciences High & Middle College (sponsored by National University), and our best-in-show $10,000 Impact Award to Cajon Valley Union School District (sponsored by North Island Credit Union).
